Version 1.1 available now


Version 1.1 of Like Clockwork is out now! This is the most significant update since launch, and probably the definitive version unless more bugs are found.

Patch Notes:

  • Title screen now shows a version number
  • Added a way of entering the adventurers' guild more quickly after entering it for the first time
  • Getting dressed now has different text after doing it for the first time
  • The statistics page has been reworded to clarify that dying isn't the only way to reset the loop
  • Changed some text when heading out into the street for the first time
  • Added a new option to attempt to open the door to the dorm rooms when you have one or more Knock scrolls
  • Changed some text when heading into the adventurers' guild without permission
  • Swapped the position of the two options after unlocking the tinkerer's door
  • Darkvision is no longer referred to as 'nightvision' when having left town
  • Changed one of the options when choosing to lie about being in a party
  • The space with the snake is now consistently referred to as a tunnel
  • You can no longer fight the snake using your swords if you don't have your swords on you
  • Polished various specifics about the interaction inside the adventurers' guild
  • Fixed missing space character in the gazebo, the main street, and the adventurers' guild if you have Zixx with you
  • Fixed a typo when leaving Bastel
  • Fixed a typo when being rejected by the waiting Lizardfolk
  • Other misc. text and formatting fixes
